Assistant Professional Officer: Space Management  Cape Town (Contract starting 5 January)
 
A contract opportunity exists for an Assistant Professional Officer to support the Space Management function within a project-focused environment. This role is well suited to an experienced Architecture or Interior Design professional looking to contribute to space planning and project coordination initiatives.
 
Key Responsibilities
    • Assist with the development and review of Norms and Standards
    • Support project planning activities
    • Complete and maintain project documentation
    • Assist in compiling and refining project briefs
    • Liaise with staff at various levels, including off-site stakeholders, to ensure effective communication and project flow
The role requires regular interaction with managers and staff who may be off-site attending meetings or site visits, ensuring efficiency and minimising delays.
 
Minimum Requirements
Qualification:
    • Degree in Architecture or Interior Design
Experience:
    • Minimum 5 years’ relevant professional experience

    • Strong organisational and documentation skills
    • Good communication and coordination ability
    • Detail-oriented with a collaborative approach
