A well established café is hiring an Assistant Manager to help keep the floor running smooth, the team motivated, and the guests coming back for more.
What you’ll be doing:
- Supporting the Restaurant Manager in day-to-day operations
- Stepping up and leading the shift when it’s go-time
- Training, coaching, and motivating staff (and jumping in when it gets busy)
- Handling guest concerns with grace — and a little charm
- Keeping an eye on inventory, cash handling, and opening/closing procedures
- Being the go-to problem-solver when something unexpected happens (because something always does)
What we’re looking for:
- Some experience in restaurant or hospitality leadership — shift lead, supervisor, or similar
- A natural multitasker who stays cool under pressure
- Someone who leads by example, not just by title
- Great communication skills with both guests and staff
- A hunger (pun intended) to grow into a bigger leadership role
