HEAD: CORPORATE SERVICES
 
An exciting opportunity exists for a dynamic person with Business anf Financial Management  who is passionate about the natural environment and tourism to lead the companies Corporate Services division in achieving success and growth. The position is based at Hillcrest.
 
Purpose of the Job:Reporting to the Managing Director the successful incumbent will provide strategic leadership in the Corporate Services Division to advance the mandate and performance objectives of the organisation.
 
Key Responsibilities:
    • Lead the development of divisional strategy, business plans and stakeholder relations management plan in line with company strategy and objectives;
    • Plan and execute interventions aimed at enhancing relationships between the company and its stakeholders, especially on the matters relating to environmental, water resource and tourism management
    •  Lead and the development of divisional strategies and operational plans.
    • Lead organisational budget development process  development and approval. objectives;
    • Provide financial management reports at determined intervals and present forecasts that enable the business to manage its cash inflows and outflows better;
    • Manage corporate risks in line with the organisation’s Risk Management Framework.
    • Perform oversight responsibility over people management practices, and drive the execution of the division strategy.
    • Divisional Reporting to EXCO, Board and Board Sub-Committees;
    • Manage the formulation and final approval of the annual report;  
    • Manage divisional budget and intervene in management of unfavorable deviations.  
 
Minimum Qualifications: Recognized bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting or Auditing (or equivalent).  A post graduate qualification will be an added advantage. Unendorsed Code 08 / EB drivers licence. 8 – 10 years’ management experience managing corporate services of which a minimum of three must be in a senior management position.
 
Key Knowledge and Skills: Strong insights into streams of management activities relevant to Finance,Supply Chain, Human Resources, SHEQ, Legal, marketing and stakeholder management. Knowledge of governance theory and practice, linked to industry standards and PFMA; * Understanding of economics related to the broader business environment in which Msinsi Holdings operates.
