NAME OF THE POSITION: QUANTITY SURVEYOR
KEY PERFORMANCE AREA OUTPUTS
OPTIMUM PEOPLE PERFORMANCE
- Managing the performance of staff by embracing the values of RBIDZ to ensure effective and productive performance of staff
- Guiding, coaching, and developing and adhering to relevant policies and procedures to manage staff performance
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Perform essential functions related to projects by:
- Facilitating over co-ordinate investor and bulk infrastructure projects
- Liaising with the project Manager /Engineer /Site Engineer and the client to establish and implement a clear project brief
- Attending client meeting as technical support to gather information and discuss project requirements explain/defend work, etc
- Participating in the development and preparation of bids and tender documents
- Presenting solutions to clients in a professional and technical competent manner
- Preparation of bill of quantities (BoQ) for infrastructure projects,
- Verification of invoices based on work progress from contractors/sub-contractors
- Carrying out cost management including forecasting of projects
- Comparing bid/tender prices received against market price
- Co-ordinating Project-related financial and contractual implications and changes
- Maintaining units’ costs for project estimation
- Undertaking activities as required for the business unit
FINANCIAL AND RISK CONTROL
- Manage finance, Risk & Compliance by
- Identifying, mitigating, and monitoring potential business risks in relevant project
- Developing policies and procedures in relevant Business Unit, which ensures alignment and compliance with relevant legislation
- Reviewing all project risk registers on monthly basis
QUALIFICATION
Bachelor of Science Honours Degree, Quality surveying
Mandatory, Advantageous

SALARY -R780 000.00 PER ANNUAL
