REPORT TO RESEARCH MANAGER
Role and Responsibilities
Conduct investigation of Claims
Key Activities
Deeds Research/Archival Research/Oral Research, Compile Rule3
Compile Project Plans, Compile weekly/Monthly, Quarterly/Annual reports/Compile Gazette/Mapping and homestead identification/Historical valuation /Conduct feasibility/Present settlement options/Compile gazette
REQUIREMENTS OF EMPLOYEES
An appropriate bachelor’s degree/ in a field such as Social Science or law degree
Admission as an advocate or attorney will be an added advantage as recognized by SAQA (NQF Level 8)
A minimum of 3 years’ experience at supervisory/project co-ordination level
Experience and personal qualities of employee
The individual should portray the following
    1. Proven experience in projects relating to research in land reform and legal work in the land reform space
    2. Proven understanding of project management systems
    3. Understanding of land data such as cadastral data, property descriptions deeds information and the ability to read mads
    4. Knowledge of M&E and statistical analysis
    5. Excellent understanding of data administration and management functions (Collection, Analysis, Distribution)
    6. Excellent proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Access, Word, etc)
    7. Excellent communication and collaboration skills
    8. Presentation skills (Development of material and development of material and delivery of content)
    9. People management to obtain the necessary inputs and effectivity communicate the outcomes in constructive manner
    10. An analytical mindset with problem solving skills
 
 
CONTRACT DURATION -3 YEARS
