Reputable & well-established accounting firm, situated in Overport, Durban seeks trainees that have already completed 1-2 years of their SAIPA articles and are looking to transfer training offices or anyone looking to start their SAIPA article traineeship.

 

 

Candidate will receive excellent training and experience to complete their SAIPA articles to become a Professional Accountant.

 

 

Degree at a recognized university

Valid driver’s license and reliable transport will be advantageous, but not essential

Computer literate, advantageous if you have had exposure to Pastel, Sage Online, QuickBooks Online, Greatsoft, Xero and Caseware

Good communication skills

Confident with strong interpersonal skills

Professional attitude

Diligent, responsible & hardworking

 

 

Monthly bookkeeping & accounting to financial statements income statement, balance sheet, cash flow statement as well as detailed notes of the same.

Monthly management accounts

Bank reconciliations, journal posting and intercompany accounts.

Preparation of financial statements;

VAT preparation and submission to SARS

Adhere to quality standards and contribute towards a positive and ethical work climate

Ensure high ethical standards and quality is always adhered to

Undertake wider office activities, as required
