Senior Professional Officer: Mega and Special Projects – Cape Town.
 
The TES employee will responsible for the following functions/ work:
 
1. To undertake Project Programme Planning coordinate and guide the Transversal Programme Management Unit (PMU) and Special/ Mega/UCI/Various housing Projects delivery to successful conclusion.
 
2. Knowledge management for effective execution of the Human Settlements Strategy
 
3. Promote and support the establishment and productive management of Public Private Partnerships.
 
4. Management of financial accountability and sustainability in promoting, supporting and enabling frugal, legal, ethical and responsible Implementation in accordance with SCM prescripts and practices i.e. Procurement policy, financial management, etc.
 
5. Partnership building by ensuring consistent and effective administrative, operational (incl. Staff management and interdepartmental) engagement and technical management of the PMU.
 
Qualification: First Degree/ B.Tech in Project Management or Town Planning, computer literacy, Valid Code B drivers licence
 
Experience: 5 or more years relevant experience
