Junior Civil/Structural Engineer- Richardsbay-12 months contract
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in structural analysis and design calculations for Steel and Concrete,
- Prepare engineering drawings and specifications using CAD software
- Conduct site visits to assess existing structures and monitor construction progress
- Support the preparation of technical reports and documentation
- Participate in design team meetings and collaborate with architects and contractors
- Perform structural calculations for various construction materials (steel, concrete, timber)
- Help develop cost estimates and material quantities
- Assist in construction administration and respond to RFIs (Requests for Information)
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or Structural Engineering
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and basic structural analysis software
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Basic understanding of steel and concrete and standards
- Knowledge of structural design principles and mechanics
Technical Skills
- Structural analysis and design
