1. Provide mental health psychology services to patients in designated facilities, including clinical diagnosis and treament and special assessments, as well as participating in project management of the mental health service at clinic level, in a multidisciplinary team caring for patients with mental health problems.

 

2.Provides mental health psychology services to patients in designated facilities, including clinical diagnosis and treatment and special assessments.

 

 

Masters in Clinical Psychology and registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA).

 

Clinical skills and competencies as outlined by the Ethical Code of Professional Conduct (including Scope of Practice) for Clinical Psychologists registered under the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA).

 

Proficienncy in at least 2 of the official languages of South Africa.

 

Completed internship and community service: 2 years (essential)

 

Experience in primary health care services: desirable but not essential.

 

Five years of work experience desirable, experience of culturally diverse settings.

 

Drivers licence as needs to travel between clinics.

 

Current registration with HPCSA.
