Our client is seeking the services of a Professional Officer to assist their department  to update and clean master data across systems on a 11 month contract. This project demands intensive labour, prolonged investigation of anomalies, and system corrections within their asset management department.
 
Responsibilities:
    1. Maintain and update registers for both movable and immovable assets, including specialised equipment.
    2. Update and maintain SAP asset database for all asset movements.
    3. Update and maintain the Directorate’s Insurance registers.
    4. Capture data related to condemnation, asset write-offs, and insurance claims.
    5. Ensure master data is accurate for annual asset and stock verification.
    6. Clean and correct historic master data in the system.
    7. Ensure all movable assets are correctly linked to current employees.
 
Minimum Requirements:
    • Qualification: Relevant 3-year tertiary qualification (National Diploma or BCom preferred)
    • Experience: 2–5 years’ relevant experience in asset management
    • System Knowledge: SAP Asset Management (compulsory)
    • Computer Skills: Proficient in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word; experience working with databases
    • Driver’s Licence: Valid Code B (08) with at least 3 years’ driving experience
