Clerk (Performance Management Support)
Our client is looking for a Clerk to assist their department on a contract basis starting 1 April 2026 until 30 June 2026. The Administrative Clerk will provide critical administrative support to core departmental functions, particularly in planning, monitoring, reporting, and compliance. The role supports the Directorate in sustaining key deliverables and ensuring efficient and uninterrupted service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with in-year Performance Management reporting requirements for the Directorate.
- Support Performance Management planning processes.
- Conduct ongoing monitoring and evaluation of core business indicators within the Directorate.
- Maintain and update the Performance Management SharePoint site, ensuring proper records management and document control.
- Provide general administrative support to ensure smooth operational processes.
- Records management/data capturing
- Customer service/handling complaints and queries
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- National Diploma in Public Administration or Business Management advantageous
Experience
- 1 – 3 years’ experience in an administrative or personal assistant role
Skills and Competencies
- Computer literacy (MS Office and basic digital systems)
- Strong organizational and administrative skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in reporting
- Ability to monitor, track, and manage information effectively
- Good communication and coordination skills
