Our client is looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented temporary Senior Clerk (contract) to provide operational and administrative/secretarial support to the department manager. The purpose of the role is to ensure continued efficiency of departmental operations.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will provide support in the following areas:
- Perform general administrative duties
- Provide secretarial support to Manager: CSP
- Information management and handling of correspondence
- Vetting documentation submitted for approval
- Receiving and preparing documents for decision making
- Management of daily diary schedules, scheduling meetings, minute taking, etc.
- Assist with filing of correspondence and delegations
Minimum Requirements
- Qualification: Grade 12 (Matric)
- Experience: Previous experience in a Personal Assistant or secretarial support role to top level management.
- Computer Literacy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
