Officer: Human Capital Information System (Permanent) – Centurion
Salary: up to R434,656.00 pa (Based on experience)
 
Purpose of the role:
Reporting to the Manager: Human Capital Information Systems, The Officer: Human Capital Information Systems is responsible to the administration of time management while ensuring a coordinating support in the implementation of Human Capital Information systems initiatives.
 
Minimum Requirements and Experience:
    • Bachelor’s Degree/Advanced Diploma in:
        • Information Technology
        • Human Resources related qualification.
    • Certification in :
        • SAP ERP system will be an added advantage.
        • TOGAF Certification will be an added advantage.
        • ITIL Certification will be an added advantage.
    • Relevant 3 years’ experience in a Human Capital Information Systems, Human Resource Data Management environment.
    • Experience in building and maintaining the structure on SAP is highly essential
    • Experience in Time Management.
    • Knowledge of:
        • Basic Conditions of Employment Act.
        • Employment Equity Act.
        • HR Systems (SAP HCM).
        • Knowledge of software testing methodologies and processes.
 
Key Performance Areas:
Implementation of time management functions.
    • Assign and maintain attendance and leave schedules.
    • Investigate and provide solutions on leave queries.
    • Investigate and provide solutions on overtime queries.
    • Analyse and document leave problem areas.
    • Provide guidance on leave, time management and overtime maintenance.
    • Provide support to the entire organisation on leave and overtime.
    • Attend to Payroll queries on overtime.
    • Validate the correctness of leave balances for exited employees.
    • Participate in the provision of information on Leave management policy and regulation of working hours policy
 
Personnel Data Verification.
    • Maintain and update employees’ details on HCIS.
    • Verify the accuracy and integrity of all data entered on the system on a monthly basis.
    • Performs data clean-ups, and research on any identified data discrepancies.
    • Provide support in troubleshooting user problems.
    • Participate in HCIS projects and systems related people management initiatives.
    • Ensure effective documentation of HCIS related supporting documents.
    • Train new system users on SAP Portal functionalities relating to leave and time management.
    • Compile and update training materials.
    • Provide effective HCIS administration support to the unit.
