Purpose
We are looking to recruit a Sales Executive based in Johannesburg who has previous experience working within a metal foundry / castings environment and possesses a sound understanding of the industry.
The successful candidate will be responsible for generating new business while maintaining and developing relationships with our existing customer base. Their primary focus will be on identifying potential customers and expanding our market presence within the agricultural, sugar, mining, electricity, gas, water and other related industries.
Minimum Requirements:
- Matric certificate with Engineering Drawing as one of the subjects.
- Bachelors degree or Diploma in Engineering would be advantageous
- Foundry related trade advantageous.
- Proven track record of Sales experience essential.
- Min 5 years Metal Foundry experience essential
- Ability to read engineering drawings and understand technical terminolgy essential
- Ability to work independantly in the allocated regions
Responsibilities:
- New Business development
• Extensive travelling to new and existing clients.
• Forming and building relationships with potential clients.
• Technical liaison between the Foundry and clients.
• Assisting in quoting on new jobs for potential clients.
