Our client is looking for a temporary clerk to assist on a 3 month project within their Workforce Development unit (Back-end administration).
Role responsibilities include:
Project Coordination & Support
• Track and monitor progress on unit projects.
• Schedule meetings, take minutes, and follow up on action items.
• Ensure documentation for each project is updated and filed properly.
Administrative & Office Support
• Prepare memos, reports, and other documentation as required.
• Maintain records and filing systems (physical and electronic).
• Manage incoming and outgoing communication (emails, letters, calls).
Procurement & Financial Administration
• Verify and submit procurement requests, track deliveries, and reconcile records.
• Assist with capturing of orders, processing payments, and confirming receipts.
• Ensure all documentation is compliant with SCM and audit requirements.
Compliance & Staff Support
• Support training and induction of new staff or contractors on-site procedures.
• Monitor adherence to compliance requirements (e.g., OHS, asset control).
• Assist in preparing documents for internal audits or performance reviews.
Reporting & Data Management
• Compile weekly/monthly operational reports.
• Maintain data for EPWP/contractor performance tracking if applicable.
• Assist in capturing or updating key departmental KPIs or dashboards.
EPWP Administration
• Capturing of workers time & attendance and resolving queries relating to time & attendance of
workers EPWP Org Management
• Creation of organisational units , positions & related changes on the applicable system .
• Epwp Recruitment & selections Liaison with relevant officials for the creation of employment
contracts
• Completion of contact upload file Checking and verifying employee information for contracts
• Submission of contracts & related documentation to Payroll
• EPWP Queries
• Liaison with relevant officials and resolving any epwp related queries
Qualification:
Grade 12
Project Management
Experience: 5 years and more
