Responsibilities
- Onboarding Projects of designated funds onto Research Finance Gate
- Database and systems administration
- Stakeholder Liaison
- Financial Administration & Reporting
- Experience in research finance
- Donor funding admin experience
- Project Accounting
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Minimum qualifications
- An Accounting or Financial Qualification at NQF 6
- A Higher-level qualification would be an advantage
- Proven experience in MS Excel.
- Experience with SAP or any other ERP will be an added advantage.
Skills
Minimum experience
- 2-3 years’ relevant and recent experience.
- Experience within a financial environment will be an added advantage
- MS Excel, intermediate to advanced abilities
- MS Word, intermediate abilities
- High level attention to detail
- Sound communication (verbal and written)
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Effective interpersonal skills
- Experience/ working knowledge of database administration
Knowledge
- Management accounts, income and expenditure statements
Other requirements
- Ability to work methodically, efficiently, accurately, and meticulously within a deadline driven environment
- Good communicative and interpersonal skills
