A well established Café is looking for a Food & Beverage Controller / Procurement specialist to keep our costs in check, our suppliers in line, and our kitchen and bar stocked with exactly what they need — no more, no less.
What you’ll be doing:
- Managing purchasing, ordering, and supplier relationships for food and beverage stock
- Negotiating pricing and contracts to keep quality high and costs sensible
- Conducting regular stock takes, audits, and variance reports
- Tracking food and beverage costs against budget and flagging red flags early
- Working closely with the kitchen and bar teams to forecast needs accurately
- Implementing and enforcing stock control procedures to minimize waste and shrinkage
- Keeping detailed, accurate records for management reporting
What we’re looking for:
- Experience in F&B control, procurement, or hospitality cost management
- Sharp attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Confident negotiator who can build solid supplier relationships
- Comfortable with spreadsheets, stock systems, and reporting tools
- Someone who can spot a discrepancy before it becomes a problem
- A team player who understands how the numbers connect to what happens on the floor and in the kitchen
