Internal Communications Officer – Braamfontein –
4 Month Temp Position – Salary: R 397 000.00pa
Responsibilities:
- To develop internal communication strategies and plans for specific activity to staff.
- Provide inputs into the strategic plan and annual business plan in line with the strategic plan
- Provide monthly management reports accurately
- Ensure that all procurement is in line with the approved supply chain management policies
- Manage and coordinate the distribution of all internal communications materials and ensure that marketing material are distributed and displayed
- Facilitate all internal communications initiatives including blog, intranet
- Complete responsibility for the compilation of all internal communication and branding reports as proposals.
- To help implement the internal communications strategy provide effective communication of relevant corporate information to staff
- To advocate the critical business importance of internal communication and support the consistent use of the brand
- Working with a broad range of stakeholders. Draft key messages for target audiences.
- To research, plan and implement a range of high-profile events and Achiever Award and end-year functions
- Working and negotiating with external suppliers and venues to provide the best value for money
- Maintain and moderate information and user engagement channels including intranet
- To complete agreed programmes of work, meet challenging targets, deadlines and standards of performance as agreed with line manager.
- Assistance in the implementation of all organisation Culture Programmes and recommendations internally.
- Approved and communicated events calendar to promote Legal Aid SA brand and image.
- Manage and coordinate the distribution of all internal communications materials
- Assist the Internal Communications Manager to develop, write, produce and distribute all internal stakeholder communiques and publications.
- Assist in managing and updating the intranet and electronic departmental folders.
Minimum Requirements:
- A recognised diploma / degree in Communications
- Three years’ experience in an internal communication
