KEY ACCOUNT SALES MANAGER
 
Job summary: The Key accounts sales Manager is responsible for managing and growing key client accounts to meet revenue goals. This role involves nurturing relationships with customers, identifying sales opportunities, and ensuring customer satisfaction through tailored solutions.
Key responsibilities
 
1. Manage a portfolio of existing client accounts, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
2. Develop and implement strategies to grow revenue within assigned accounts, identifying opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and new business development.
3. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing any questions, concerns, or needs, and providing regular updates on products, services, or changes.
4. Negotiate contract terms and conditions to close sales deals, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
5. Monitor and report on sales metrics, providing accurate forecasts and performance analysis to support decision-making.
6. Work closely with other departments (e.g., finance, customer support, product development) to ensure smooth service delivery and resolve any issues that may arise.
7. Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to identify opportunities for growth and keep the company ahead of the competition.
8. Develop strategies for maintaining high customer retention and satisfaction, implementing feedback mechanisms to improve the client experience.
Preferred skills
· Experience in the industry relevant to the company’s products or services.
· Familiarity with sales strategies and methodologies.
· Analytical skills to understand sales metrics and identify improvement areas
· Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
· Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients at all levels.
· Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
· 6+ years of experience in sales, key account management, or customer relations.
· Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
