Our client is looking for 60 temporary Senior Clerks to join the GV2025 Valuations Project, which will run from 20 February 2026 to 2 April 2026. You will be part of a team that helps members of the public understand the valuation process, submit disputes, complete objection forms, and respond to valuation-related queries (in person and by email).
We have several positions available in different teams and areas across the Cape Metro (North, South, East, Central).
Positions Available
1. Venue Assistant
Main Duties:
- Help the public search through sales books
- Assist people to complete objection forms
- Check that objection forms are filled in correctly and guide corrections
- Download and email objection forms when requested
- Help members of the public use the website
- Issue, receive, and check required documents
- Respond to emails received
- Capture, scan, and file objections received
2. Email Correspondent (Based in the CBD)
Main Duties:
- Respond to email queries sent to the project’s generic email address
- Capture and attach objections received via email
- Check objection forms for accuracy and help correct them if needed
- Download and send objection forms via email
- Keep simple records of the number and type of emails handled
Minimum Requirements
- Matric (Grade 12)
- Computer skills (MS Office)
- Good communication skills (verbal and written)
- Customer service experience (experience working with the public)
- Data capturing experience (advantage)
- Driver’s licence (required for at least 8 staff members)

- All appointed staff will be issued with a uniform.
