Our client has an exciting position for a Senior HR Practitioner.
 
 
Job Purpose:48
 
    1. The day to day running of the human resource department.
    2. Recruitment and Selection – handling recruitment processes, developing job descriptions, updates where necessary, and ensuring compliance with Labour laws.
    3. Employee Relations – Managing employee relations, resolving conflicts, and developing strategies to improve engagement and retention of staff within the business.
    4. Performance Management – overseeing performance appraisal and management processes to ensure fair and equitable treatment of employees.
    5. HR Policy development – creating and updating company HR policies and procedures, to ensure that we are always compliant as a company.
    6. Staff Time Management – manage staff attendance, leave management, time-off requests. Ensure accurate recording and reporting of staff working hours. Leave always to be pre-approved.
    7. Employee Data Management – maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR database.
    8. Labour law compliance – relevant laws and regulations i.e., Employment Equity
    9. Payroll Administration – manage payroll processes, ensuring timely and accurate payment of staff. Liaising with the company that payroll is outsourced to.
